    Holly Hamilton

Best known as a presenter on BBC Breakfast & BBC Sport, 2023 has seen Holly add another string to her bow as co-host of BBC Sunday Morning Live alongside Sean Fletcher.

Originally from Co. Down in Northern Ireland, Holly has spent over a decade working on some of the UK’s biggest networks. Despite her Irish roots, Holly’s career began in Scotland where she worked for Scottish Television (STV) for several years and was part of the original news broadcasters on the channel’s flagship political programme “Scotland Tonight”. She has also worked as News and Sport Editor for Downtown Radio and Cool FM where she was part of the Breakfast show voted “Radio Show of the Year” (CIPR Awards).

  • As one of BBC’s most energetic presenters, Holly’s career has taken her from the famous red sofa to the green grass courts of Wimbledon where she’s been part of the BBC’s coverage from the All-England Club. As well as presenting live from the red carpet of BBC Sports Personality of the Year and anchoring BBC Sportsday.

Away from sport, Holly represented Northern Ireland as one of the Jubilee Beacons for the coverage of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebration. She was subsequently asked to host the Commonwealth coverage in Birmingham 2022 for BBC alongside Gabby Logan, Clare Balding and a host of other talent. 2023 saw Holly host the Rolex Fastnet Races in Cowes and become the go-to cover for Stephen Nolan’s radio show on Radio Ulster.

A familiar face across BBC Northern Ireland. In 2019, she fronted NI’s Children in Need live show, hosted “Open for Summer” from The Open in Portrush alongside Colin Murray and became the first woman to host long running comedy panel series “The Blame Game.”

This year sees Holly continue her growth as a Broadcaster, with some exciting developments in the pipeline.
