    Katy Johnston

    Katy Johnston is a Scottish radio DJ and was recently named as one of the Radio Academy’s 30 Under 30.

    As host of Capital FM Scotland’s popular drivetime show, ‘Getting Scotland Home’ every weekday from 4-7 pm, she has interviewed everyone from Richard Branson to chart-topping artists such as Craig David, James Arthur and Tom Grennan.

  • Katy is also the host of the Young Scot podcast ‘This is How AyeFeel’ which is now in its second series.

    Unafraid to tackle tough subjects on air, Katy has been an ambassador for Endometriosis UK for several years. She works tirelessly on and off the mic to raise awareness for the condition and support the fight against period inequality. Notably, at Westminster and on ITV news.

    NCTJ-accredited journalist, Katy has been published in The Herald and The Big Issue amongst other national titles. Katy has recently collaborated with brands including; Irn Bru, Dyson, Disney, Channel 4 (Great British Bake Off), Quiz Clothing, Fake Bake UK, Astrid & Miyu, Strathclyde University, Cala Homes, Jet 2 Holidays, Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
