The Mac Twins are the CEOs and founders of one of the UK’s most exciting start-up businesses; ‘The Gut Stuff’, which was born from a desire to educate the public with transparency on gut health, quickly grew to an award winning, multimillion pound business with products available in major supermarkets across the UK.

Alana and Lisa have been described as ‘The Two Most Influential Women of 2021’ by Start-Up magazine and by Paul Armstrong at Forbes as ‘Two women redefining their influence status in business and health whilst really helping people”. The duo is on a mission to share their experience as successful entrepreneurs, juggling motherhood and sharing accessible and realistic ways of improving our day-to-day gut health.

The Mac Twins hit our screens in 2023 on C4 with the hit series ‘Know Your Sh*t’, which aired to an audience of over 7 million viewers. They have previously held radio shows on Virgin Radio and Kiss FM , presented the famous Edinburgh Hogmany New Year’s Eve celebration to over 90,000 people, DJ’d at international events such as The Olympics, major festivals inclusive of Wireless, partnered with global brand Coca-Cola amongst others and featured as resident DJ’s on prime-time ITV Series; Love Island Aftersun.
