Maia also works for BBC Introducing, hosting their new music coverage at iconic British festivals like Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds.
As a versatile DJ, Maia’s true love is for disco and house music. She has a residency at two private members clubs (Groucho Club & The Ministry) and experience playing festivals (All Points East, YNot), clubs (Brixton Jamm,
Lio London, Effra Social) and corporate events for the likes of ASOS, England Rugby and the University of Greenwich. She plays regularly in fine dining settings for Duck and Waffle and Sushi Samba and is heading to Ibiza in
the summer to play at Wiki-Woo – wherever she goes she’s guaranteed to get the crowd dancing.
Outside of music Maia is interested in documentary making and current affairs - before becoming a presenter she was a producer - regularly creating programmes across Radio 4 including Woman’s Hour, MoneyBox and Newscast.
