    Tillie Amartey has achieved a lot in a short time, working on shows for Sky, CBBC and Channel 5.  

    Tillie is currently starring in BBC One’s reimagining of the well-loved show Waterloo Road. Her acting career has seen her play a range of varied roles, from and “Chloe” in the popular CBBC show Almost Never,  “Izzy” on Channel 5’s four-part drama The Teacher  alongside Sheridan Smith, to her most intense part to date: “Marnie” in Jimmy McGovern’s Moving On.  

  • In 2023, Tillie become a regular presenter on CBBC’s Love! Love! Love!, celebrating everything trending across music, pop and celebrity culture. She’s appeared on numerous episodes of Saturday Mash Up on the channel too. Tillie also joined the cast of 2023's Strictly Come Dancing Christmas Special  alongside dance partner Neil Jones. She’s cemented herself as a well-known BBC face after appearing on Doctors, Creeped Out and a twelve-part documentary which saw Tillie giving kids an insight into the workings of the music industry. She interviewed well-known names like Liam Payne, Dermot O’Leary, Craig David and other leaders in the industry.  

    Known for her versatility and ability to inhabit roles in both comedy and serious drama, she stars in episode one of BBC One’s police drama Better, and she was handpicked by David Walliams for her debut film role in his TV adaptation of Ratburger. Her break-out performance as troublesome “Tina Trott” won her plaudits from critics and industry peers alike.  

    Tillie’s hard-working spirit has yielded a favourable impact on her young life so far and she is a champion for fighting for what you believe in with heart, integrity and commitment. This led to her becoming an ambassador for The Diana Award’s Anti-Bullying campaign in 2023. She wants to inspire her generation to be good people; to be kind, genuine and give back where you can.
