Born into a musical family, Becca Dudley is a successful DJ, broadcaster and music curator.
Becca is MTV UK’s lead presenter. Starting her TV career there in 2012 when she was signed up to front their daily news programme, she rose through the ranks to interview the world’s biggest music artists and celebrities and currently hosts the bi-monthly show, Fresh Out. She covers worldwide music events and festivals including the MTV MIAWS in Mexico City, Isle Of Malta and Tomorrowland in Belgium and has co-presented the prestigious EMA’s Red Carpet show for MTV International since 2016.
She co-hosts the TV coverage of the Red Bull Soap Box Races which are broadcast internationally and travels across the globe to race locations from London to Toulouse, from Sao Paulo to Hyderabad. In 2023 Becca presented the live stream from Paris of the international breakdancing championship, the Red Bull BC One World Final, for Channel 4.
In 2016, Becca launched her own music platform DEADLY. Born from her passion for reggae, dancehall and bashment, DEADLY now produces original documentaries, music videos, interviews and live sessions, showcasing the most exciting artists from the UK, Caribbean and worldwide.
Alongside this, Becca DJ’s at major venues and festivals across the world. Spinning commercially for brands as well as playing out at major festivals City Splash, Boomtown, Reggae Geel and supporting some of the world’s biggest reggae and dancehall acts, including Chronixx, Protoje and Morgan Heritage.
For ITV’s X Factor Becca hosted the digital spin-off series Xtra Bites in 2017 and 2018 as well as the X Factor Live Tour, presenting the arena shows across the UK and Ireland in 2018 and 2019. She has also worked with the Mercury Music Prize on their winner’s social coverage. As a radio broadcaster Becca was one of the first DJ’s brought on board to launch Apple’s international station Apple Music 1, hosting her own playlist shows.
Becca is in demand as a commercial face, she is a brand ambassador for Clarks and has worked with Ellesse, Diageo, Aussie Haircare, ASOS and Adidas amongst others. She is an ambassador for MTV’s AIDS charity Staying Alive and works closely with international charity WE.
A keen drummer, Becca can often be found jamming in the garage with her mum (bass), her dad (guitar) and her siblings (vocals and percussion).
