    Jack Saunders

    Jack Saunders is one of the UK’s leading music broadcasters and an instinctive host of live and digital-first entertainment. Best known as the presenter of Radio 1’s New Music Show and The Official Chart Show, he combines genuine music authority with humour, spontaneity and an ability to connect with highly engaged fan communities.

    Jack presents BBC One’s live coverage of Glastonbury and has fronted digital coverage for BBC iPlayer across Reading and Leeds, Radio 1’s Big Weekend and major music moments including Chappell Roan’s BBC Sound of 2025 win and most recently  Charli XCX Maida Vale.

    He has also co-hosted The BRITs red carpet and after-party coverage for ITV and presented MTV’s Gonzo.
     
    Beyond music, Jack has particular credibility across gaming and fan culture. A lifelong Magic: The Gathering player, he has hosted major MagicCon stages and panels, as well as creating content around new releases, card pulls and the wider community. His ability to enter highly coded worlds as both a knowledgeable fan and an accessible host makes him a natural fit for social-first series, live streams, entertainment formats and branded digital content.
