Ore Olukoga is a Broadcaster, Presenter and Content Producer from Hackney, East London. A Journalism Alumni of Nottingham Trent University, where he left an accredited Journalist and Award-Winning Student Radio Presenter. Ore, named as part of GUAP magazine’s ‘The Blacklist’ 30 under 30, started his career with humble beginnings in community radio and has risen to become one of the most exciting new voices and faces in Broadcasting.
In 2022, Ore was selected to cover shows on BBC Radio 1 over the Christmas period which subsequently led him to become a regular cover presenter on the station. He continues to make waves within the radio broadcasting space, as the go to Radio 1 cover for Early Morning Breakfast after covering the Summer Weekend Breakfast in summer 2023, solidifying him as one to watch on the network. Most recently, he was a key broadcaster for Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2024 in his hometown of Luton.
Ore’s journey began in 2011, just aged 15, as a Presenter for online radio station Jamrock Radio, Luton and after a successful stint there it led to him landing his own weekly show on Reprezent Radio in 2013. Dedicating seven years to the station, it was here where he would hone and develop his presenting style and really kick start his broadcasting career. During that period, Ore spent his time interning at BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra, learning the ropes as a Producer, and further fuelling that creative spirit whilst gaining a holistic view on how radio is created on a national level.
In addition to presenting, Ore has previously worked as a creative and A&R Scout for Sony Music/RCA Records, consulting and working with the biggest artists in the world. His creativity further extends to YouTube, where he has built a successful channel, interviewing artists, leading conversations around pop culture, music and collaborating with other creatives.
Ore regularly presents social content for LadBible and its associated brands including coverage at the 2023 Wimbledon Tournament for SportBible and premiere of Oppenheimer. He has also presented The BET Networks digital dating format – Dating Black and appeared as talking on the CH5 Harry Styles documentary. His brand alignments include, Havana Club, Peroni, TikTok, Wireless Festival and TFL to name a few.
