    Nick Grimshaw

    Host of BBC Radio 6 Music’s Breakfast Show, broadcaster Nick Grimshaw is one of the country’s most successful radio and TV personalities. 

    He began his on-screen career with Channel 4 and went on to join BBC Radio 1 in 2007 hosting various shows for the network and serving as presenter of the flagship Breakfast Show for six years between 2012 and 2018. 

  • Nick hosts the hugely successful, and award-winning, podcast Dish alongside Michelin starred chef Angela Hartnett. Eight series on and guests have included Tom Holland, Graham Norton, Olivia Colman and Florence Pugh. He also presents the topical music offering from BBC Sounds, Sidetracked, which teams him with long term on-air partner and real-life pal Annie Macmanus. 

    A regular face on TV, Nick has fronted numerous shows for all the major UK networks, his most recent TV presenting credits include The Great Home Transformation (Channel 4) and Josh Must Win (E4).

    Grimshaw was born in Moss Side, grew up in Oldham and now lives in London. His debut non-fiction book Soft Lad was published in 2022 by Hodder.
